RESOURCES
Please check our store, Wang Tang, for practice supplies or study materials. It is located on the lower level of the Shambhala Center. If you are in need of something not currently in stock, perhaps it can be ordered. Contact Mary MacEachen with questions, 651.292.0266, marym52@comcast.net.

We have a selection of dharma books in our library, as well as tape recordings of teachings that have been given at our Center over the years.
Thanks to the efforts of the library volunteers, under the direction of our Senior Dharma Librarian, Mark Wilhelmi.
To check out a book, write your name, your email address, and today's date on the green library card in the back of the book. Put the card in the little plastic box. You may keep it for a month.
To return a book, put it in the "returns" basket. The librarians will re-shelve it.
To donate books, put them in the "donations" basket. Right now, we are especially looking for books by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and Pema Chodron. All Dharma books are welcome. They will be reviewed by the library staff, and either placed in the collection or used to generate funds for book purchases.
The Dot
The Dot is Shambhala's community newspaper. Read about events and issues, histories and happenings of Shambhala centers around the world, and how different community members cope with the challenges and rewards of meditation and everyday life. Each issue includes a teaching on meditation and post meditation, as well as international announcements from individuals, meditation groups, and practice centers. The Dot is issued four times a year. Nothing happens and they report it. http://www.shambhalashop.com/dot/
Shambhala Sun
Issued bi-monthly, the Shambhala Sun was found in 1978 by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Called the Vajradhatu Sun in his day, it was the leading Buddhist newspaper of the era when Buddhism was emerging as a major spiritual force in the West. Now known as the Shambhala Sun, it is respected for the quality of its writing and the beauty of its design. It’s the place where ancient wisdom meets contemporary thinkers and writers. http://www.shambhalasun.com/
Buddhadharma, The Practitioner's Quarterly
This is a relatively new quarterly magazine from the publishers of the Shambhala Sun. It is an in-depth practice oriented journal for everyone with a serious interest in Buddhism, no matter what Buddhist path one follows.
